Went to this very old synagogue said to date back to Roman times. It is currently used only for special occasions. Did find out there are currently 1000 Jewish families in Barcelona with four shuls, one Sephardi orthodox, one Ashkenazi orthodox and two progressive. There was a demonstration to have Catalan secede from Spain.  Had lunch down by the beach, waded in the water and just relaxed. Later that evening we went to La Font Magica to see the water and light show. Suitcases have been found. It is still unclear how I am going to hook up with them.
