In the morning we went to the Salvadore Dali museum in Figueres. I didn’t realize he painted in so many different styles. You can see the influence of Picasso and others in his works. Tamar thinks he has a really dark side. I found a lot of his stuff whimsical. There was definitely explicit sexuality in a number of his works. We over heard a guide saying that Dali wanted to open up all the boxes of human nature. This concept helped to understand things a little better. We drive back to Cadaques but it was raining the rest of the day. Went to a wonderful guitar concert in the evening.
