Budapest again

One evening we went to a concert in St. Stephen’s Basilica, the largest church in Budapest. We heard music of Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Liszt, Schubert and Mozart. The performers were an organist, a violinist, a trumpet player, s soprano and a tenor. Here are some pictures of the church and performance.

One day for lunch, we went to a restaurant where we got a demonstration on how to make strudel. I got to participate.

On our last day in Budapest, we visited the area around the Hungarian Parliament. I also found out that Hannah Senesh was Hungarian.

On our last evening we did a dinner cruise along the Danube. A perfect way to end our experience in Budapest.

  2. BY “spontaneous do you mean not govt approved? It looks pretty sturdy from the picture. I make strudle, rarely anymore, but I use PHYLLO dough. The dough in your experience looks very thin too.
Shabbat Shalom to you, although it’s probably over wherever you are today
