We went to the Old Town Square where the old Town Hall with an astronomical clock. Established in 1338, the oldest Gothic part includes a tower richly decorated by coats of arms but the most interesting is the top part of the astronomical clock with 12 apostles who appear every hour in little windows. This occurs after a skeleton rings a bell. Here is a picture of the tower and other sights around the square.

The Square at night.

We were bussed to the other side of the river for lunch after which we crossed over the Charles bridge back to the old town. Construction on the bridge was started in 1357 under the auspices of Ling Charles IV. There are statues in the bridge, caricature artists, musicians, etc.
