On the way to Granada

On the way to Granada, we stopped at two delightful little white villages, Alfarnate and Alfarnatejo, where we visited an olive oil cooperative and had lunch provided by some of the local villagers. Here are some pictures from the olive oil cooperative.

The oil had a rich olive taste.

In the town we visited an older home. We were treated to a toast and the most delicious almonds I have ever had.

The flags were up because the town was celebrating Saint Michael’s day.

The rest of the town was eating paella in celebration of Saint Michaels day. I have never seen a paella pan that big.
