We started the day with a music lecture given by Julia and Walter Ayer. He is the principal flutist in the Vienna Orchestra. They played some delightful duets by Mozart and others. We then went to the Jugendsil Steinhof Church, an example of arte nouveau, built on the grounds of a huge mental health facility. Unfortunately during WWII, the Nazis took advantage of this to send over 8000 to the gas chambers. Today it is still mainly a facility for the mentally ill. The church is very unique. Here are some pictures.

After lunch we went to the Leopold Museum to see more Klimt and others. One other artist was Schiele who as gas as I was concerned was deeply disturbed as a young man. I did like some of his landscapes. Again I have tried to include pictures of the descriptions of the paintings. There are also pictures of the museum itself. The last is a photo of Klimt.
