Arrived in Frankfurt after a comfortable flight to find out that my luggage was still in Seattle. It is a big mess because the earliest they expected the luggage to arrive in Franfurt is Sunday and Tamar and I flew to Barcelona today, Saturday. The plan is for them to send my smaller suitcase here to Barcelona and the bigger one to Tamar’s place in Franfurt with the hopes this will occur by Monday. We hope to leave Barcelona on Tuesday. However I don’t have great confidence in Condor at this time. Had to buy some shirts and underwear.   We are staying at the Hostal Levante in the heart of the Barri Gotic district of Barcelona. This is the old town area with a huge cathedral, the Jewish quarter and wonderful narrow streets. There is a very old synagogue a few blocks from our hotel which we will visit tomorrow. We are shortly headed out to the Mercat de la Boqueria to check out food options.
