Great news. Was able to pick up my purple suitcase at the Barcelona airport. This was the one packed for Spain. Hopefully the other one is in Frankfurt. On the way to Cadaques we stopped in Girona. After a delightful lunch in a shaded square, we walked through the old Jewish Quarter and visited the Jewish Museum. I was able to light a candle for Rachel. These museums are basically set up by the state to educate Spaniards about their Jewish heritage. The pictures are from Girona. Arrived in Cadaques around 7 pm. Cadaques is absolutely charming. It is a small village, very hilly, around a bay. The streets are so narrow there is almost no vehicle traffic. We had to park blocks from our hotel and lug our suitcases up and down a hill. It was worth it though. The hotel owner is very helpful. The room has a wonderful little balcony. More on my Wednesday entry.

Thanks for your photos. Glad you have your suitcase. Please say Hello to Tamar.
