Woke up in Stari Grad, the fog was as thick as pea soup. Eventually we got under way to the town of Hvar on Hvar Island. There we visited the Arsenal, Cathedral and monastery. Everything here is made of stone. This makes the Cathedrals quite interesting and not as ornate as their counterparts in other countries. Hvar is where the nuns make that incredible agave lace. Also went up to the fortress above the town which was finished in the 16th century and protected the town from the Ottomans. There were also great views of the town from the fortress. Then to finish the day we had our wonderful sunset. The boat is very comfortable and the meals are good.

Judith and I said Hi to Linda at noon today. We are all enjoying your photos! Thanks.
