My tour ended on Monday morning in Montenegro. I took a shuttle back to Dubrovnik and am staying in an Airbnb right in the center of the Old Town. Monday afternoon I just walked around, had my customary gelato and actually did a little shopping. I was saving my energy for my Tuesday morning walk on the walls. I had a great dinner of a pastry stuffed with turkey, veal, cheese and mushrooms in a Bosnian restaurant. Also had a wonderful eggplant dish. For breakfast on Wednesday I had leftovers. It took me two hours to walk the walls. (See previous post). Afterwards I had lunch at an oyster and sushi bar. Again another excellent meal. After resting, I visited the synagogue and did some more shopping. Dinner was a seafood risotto and a nice glass of wine. There are cats all over Dubrovnik. I am ready to go back to the states in the morning. I really had a great time in Croatia and would love to return. I am stopping in Boston for a few days on my way home. Be back in Portland on the 31st.
