In Hamburg to spend a few days with my friend Tamar. I got in about 1:00 pm and after getting settled Tamar and I took a delightful boat ride around the Hamburg Harbor, which is the 14th largest port in the world. We saw some huge container ships and were told that they stack the containers 20 deep. There were also some fascinating modern buildings. We were told that the rent in some of these places is 24,000 a month and some of the condos sell for more than 1,500,000 euros. For dinner we found a Mediterranean seafood restaurant that was outstanding. Pictures are from our harbor cruise.

Looking happy!

Robbie, I’m enjoying this “armchair traveling”. I was not sure how to read those amounts for rent and buying – how Euros compare to dollars. I liked seeing you in the one of the pictures. Peggy

Hi Peggy, I am glad you’re enjoying the posts. I think euro is worth a little bit more than one dollar.
