We have seen the Northern lights on two consecutive evenings. I previously posted pictures that I took using the iPhone. They were not very good pictures. One of the other gals, who has a very fancy camera, has been taking really incredible pictures of the lights. I got a copy of three of her pictures which I am posting. What’s interesting is that with the naked eye, you do not see the green as vividly as a camera sees it. 
In the store they sell these fun northern light shirts. Of course I couldn’t resist. Neither could Elaine. The backs of the shirt say “I’ve seen the light”. Here’s a picture of Elaine and I with our astronomy teacher, Murray. Murray is from Canada and he is one great guy.

Robbie, those shirts should get some comments. In college I was in an astronomy group for awhile. All I remember is going up on a roof and looking (maybe through telescopes). My daughter Keri looks looking at the night sky. We went together and joined a group – saw planets, stars, etc. Peggy
