It was actually quite delightful to sit on a train for 6 1/2 hours. We definitely went through some beautiful scenery. But this doesn’t even come close to the scenery that we saw on our cruise. However being on a train certainly beats being on a plane.

Feeling envious of you going to Oslo. Not sure what your plans are, but hope you make it to the Thor Heyerdahl Museum and see the Viking ships. Also the Oslo Opera House, which is spectacular. Sounds like a wonderful trip. Looking forward to hearing more about it in a couple of weeks. Safe travels!

Robbie, I think what you are saying is in a train you can view the scenery, but a plane is a more interior experience. Peggy
