Third day in Prague

In the morning we went to the Strahov Monastery which contains the Strahov Library, an incredible collection of manuscripts dating back to the 9th century and housed in historic halls in the Baroque and Classical style built in the 17th and 18th centuries. We were treated to a guitar and flute concert. Pictures include shots of books from the library, the halls, views around the monastery and views of Prague as we walked out of the monastery.

After lunch we were given free time. Four of us went to the Kafka Museum.

After the Museum, I walked over the Charles Bridge and around the old town to say goodbye to Prague. I had this ice cream dessert that is in a pastry cooked over charcoal. It isn’t as good as it looks. So here are more pictures of Prague including some taken when we went for our farewell dinner.
