Today we sadly left Gijon, but are looking forward to joining our tour group in Bilbao. Here is the last look at our Airbnb and attempt to show you the craziness of the parking structure in which we had to park our car.

On the way, we made a stop at the Capricho de Gaudi (whim of Gaudi). The house was designed in 1885. It is a three story structure with a bedazzling combination of arabesque and Neo-Gothic elements and of course, the motifs that are a hallmark of all Gaudi creations.

Upon arrival in Bilbao, we dropped the car off at the airport and found our way to our hotel. At 6 o’clock we met up with the group and walked into the old part of the city. The hotel is right on the river. We had dinner in a tapas bar.

Tomorrow we start our tour with Overseas Adventures.
Love that Gaudi. The insude with all the beams is stunning.
You were not kidding about that parking garage!
