Stari Grad is a very small, quaint town on the island of Hvar. Here we visited the home of the poet Petar Hektorovic and a monastery museum. The roots of the town date back to 800 BCE. on board we were entertained by an a Capella group singing in the traditional Dalmacian style.

Zadar is very picturesque. Can’t beat being surrounded on three sides by water. I actually climbed up to the top of the bell tower to take some of the pictures. There are Roman ruins scattered about. Also had some great mango gelato. 

It is very easy to drive in Croatia. There are good roads and plenty of signs. I enjoyed looking at all the villages I went through. They were very clean with nice houses.
