Shabbat in Frankfurt
After a delightful breakfast in a French bistro, we went to synagogue. In Frankfurt.
Arrived in Frankfurt on Thursday afternoon. I am experiencing only minimal jet lag. On Friday Tamar, her daughter and her family and I visited the Rhine. Went on a short cruise, visited a castle and ate in a funky restaurant that had all kinds of junk hanging everywhere. A very enjoyable day.
My next adventure
I am leaving Wednesday for Germany, Croatia and Boston. I hope to be posting pictures and writing a travelogue as I go.
Last day in Jerusalem
On my last day, I went back to the Jewish Quarter of the Old City and the Kotel. Tomorrow I fly to Frankfurt. Friday I fly to Boston and will be back in Portland next Wednesday.
