As some of you know, I was supposed to leave last Friday to visit my friend in Frankfurt and then go on to a tour of the Caucasus. Unfortunately, my body decided that last week it needed to have its gallbladder removed. I had to postpone my trip. I just wanted to let people know in case there were some people wondering why I hadn’t started posting. I have two very delightful one week trips scheduled this summer. One camping at the Hood Canal in Washington and then a week with my family exploring Vancouver Island. I will definitely post those trips. Also my boat is back in the water and ready for summer adventures. My garden is going crazy. I hope this post finds everybody well. c’est le vie.

Wow, Robbie, refuah shlemah! I hope you have family help as you recover from surgery. At least it didn’t happen while you were travelling.

I am off on an entirely different adventure – colon cancer! Found by surprise in March. Now had my first chemo which has hit me hard and most of my hair has fallen out and still falling! Get to enjoy the cute wig I bought 20 years ago! So NOT the adventure I would have chosen! Had to cancel planned travel to Iceland! Foo!
