Inside the Ngorongoro Grater

This day we spent over eight hours exploring the Ngorongoro crater which has a total area of over 3000 mi.². The elevation of the floor of the creator is 5900 feet and the elevation at the rim is 7500 feet. It is also the home of over 40,000 Maasai who are mostly herders. It was an unbelievable experience. I don’t think I’ve seen such a variety of animals in my life. I can’t believe the number of pictures I took. Unfortunately some of the pictures where I really had to zoom in, have come out a little fuzzy. Also, some of the pictures don’t have any animals in them. Just wanted to give you a feel for what the environment looks like. Here they are. Also, would be nice to get some feedback from you guys. I do miss home.
